Resolved, That the 71st General Convention of the Episcopal Church call upon the Church at every level to oppose violence and the means by which violence is perpetrated in all areas of our common life; and be it further
Resolved, That the individual members of the 71st General Convention undertake the responsibility to promote and monitor all possible appropriate action in their several dioceses, parishes, households, and communities to the end that the Church is and is perceived to be actively building just and nonviolent relationships among ourselves and in the world, keeping the insistent Gospel call to nonviolence before us.

Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That the 71st General Convention of the Episcopal Church call upon the Church at every level to oppose violence and the means by which violence is perpetrated in all areas of our common life; and be it further
Resolved, That the individual members of the 71st General Convention undertake the responsibility to promote and monitor all possible appropriate action in their several dioceses, parishes, households, and communities to the end that the Church is and is perceived to be actively building just and nonviolent relationships within and among ourselves and in the world, keeping the insistent Gospel call to nonviolence before us.
