Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring, That Title III. Canon 24. Sec. 3(a) be amended by adding the line:

Each Bishop serving in a Diocese shall reside in that Diocese and shall be elected for a term of office in that Diocese not to exceed ten years.

The Committee on Ministry presented its Report #11 on Resolution D088 (Amend Canon III.24.3: Elective Term for Diocesan Bishops), moved the resolution, and recommended rejection.
