Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That, during each legislative session of the 73rd, and subsequent General Conventions, each Diocese may designate one person of age 25 or younger as a "Diocesan Youth or Young Adult Representative", and such Representative shall have seat and voice and shall sit with the deputation of his/her Diocese.
Proposed Committee Substitute:
Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, that each diocese of this church be encouraged to elect as one of its deputies a member who is twenty five (25) years old or less.
Deputy Crump of West Tennessee moved an amendment.
Proposed Amendment:
Amend line 2 by striking "twenty five (25)" and inserting "thirty (30)".
A vote was taken on the Crump amendment to the substitute for Resolution D089.
