Resolved, That the Standing Commission on Ministry Development report its findings to the 74th General Convention.

Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring, That the 73rd General Convention direct the Standing Commission on Ministry Development to review the current role of vocational deacons in the councils of the church in the dioceses of ECUSA, and recommend to the 74th General convention canons which would establish norms for the participation of vocational deacons in the councils of the church at the national, diocesan, and parochial levels.
