Resolved, That the 75th General Convention express appreciation to the Church Pension Fund for the initiative through its Department of Pastoral Care and Education, in the creation of a network of Diocesan Chaplains to the Retired Clergy, Spouses, and Surviving Spouses; and be it further

Resolved, That every diocese of the Church be encouraged to make provision to support and enhance this ministry through bishops appointing Chaplains, to extend the bishops’ pastoral ministry to a growing and significant part of the Church.
