Resolved, That the 76th General Convention endorse the Earth Charter including its Preamble and direct the Secretary of General Convention to refer it to an interim body for recommendations as to specific action steps including the provision of biblical, theological and spiritual resources for environmental justice; and be it further

Resolved, That the 76th General Convention encourage dioceses, congregations, agencies and individuals to take action consonant with the Earth Charter locally, nationally and internationally.

Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That the 76th General Convention endorse the Earth Charter and recommend action steps for dioceses, parishes and individuals to implement its principles, locally, nationally and internationally.

In the first resolve clause, after the words “action steps” add the following words “including the provision of biblical, theological and spiritual resources for environmental justice.”
