Resolved, That the General Convention budget allocate $35,000 (salary and benefits) for 1/4 FTE staff person at the Office of Government Relations of The Episcopal Church to track federal legislative proposals for the creation and operation of the One Person, One Vote working group, and to provide timely action alerts to bishops, dioceses, and Episcopal Public Policy Network subscribers.

Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring, That the 79th General Convention of The Episcopal Church authorize The Episcopal Church to create a working group to study, define, and propose reforms by which civil government at all levels (local, state, and federal) may move closer toward making a reality of the principle of one person, one vote; and be it further
Resolved, That the General Convention budget allocate $35,000 (salary and benefits) for 1/4 FTE staff person at the Washington Office of The Episcopal Church to track federal and state legislative proposals for the creation and operation of the One Person, One Vote working group, and to provide timely action alerts to bishops, dioceses, and Episcopal Public Policy Network subscribers.
