Resolved, That this Church recognize that an immediate crisis exists for the continuing livelihood of persons involved in the production, harvesting, and marketing of food and fiber; and be it further
Resolved, That the 68th General Convention direct the Standing Commission on the Church in Small Communities to collect information concerning this crisis from available sources, within and without the Church, and report that information and its recommendations for action to the Executive Council at the earliest possible time, not later than January 1, 1987; and be it further
Resolved, That the Executive Council shall receive and act upon the report, and submit a report of its own actions to the 69th General Convention.
