Resolved, That the House of Deputies of the 71st General Convention applaud our gracious hosts for this convention: Bishop Edward Jones and the Diocese of Indianapolis, Bishop Francis Gray and the Diocese of Northern Indiana. Under the inspired local leadership of Katherine Tyler-Scott, three years of intensive planning and hard work by hundreds of people from both dioceses finally culminates this week. Your labor has not been in vain. You have welcomed the stranger at the airport; you have led us to food and shelter. You have provided for our every need; you have rescued the lost and sent us down the right hallways. We now know the true meaning of Hoosier hospitality and we thank you.
