The Acts of Convention

Resolved, That the House of Bishops meeting at the 79th General Convention of The Episcopal Church, gathered in Austin, Texas, expresses its profound gratitude to the Right Reverend Andy Doyle, Bishop Diocesan of the Diocese of Texas, to the Right Reverend Dena Harrison and the Right Reverend Jeff Fisher, Bishops Suffragan, to the Right Reverend Hector Monterroso, Bishop Assistant, to the Bishop’s Staff, and to all the clergy and faithful of the Diocese, for their welcome to their Diocese and for their hard work in preparing for and hosting this Convention; and be it further

Resolved, That the House of Bishops meeting at the 79th General Convention further expresses our appreciation to all those members of the Diocese of Texas and others who have given their time and talent as volunteers in support of the work of this Convention and who have offered genuine and cheerful hospitality to us all.
