Resolved, That Executive Council express its appreciation for the following recent appointments made by the Presiding Bishop:
The Rev. Dr. Marc Nikkei, Diocese of Southwestern Virginia, to serve for two years in a joint appointment with Church Missionary Society, London, England, and the Diocese of Southwestern Virginia, in the Episcopal Church of the Sudan, beginning December 15, 1993, as Theological Education Adviser. If the political situation in the Sudan does not warrant the placement of Dr. Nikkel there, he will serve displaced communities on the border of Uganda.
The Rev. William Schwartz, Diocese of Rio Grande, to serve for three years in the Diocese of Cyprus and the Gulf, beginning December 1, 1993, as Diocesan Secretary and a non-stipendiary priest.
