Resolved, That the Executive Council receive with appreciation the resolution of the Conference on Racism held earlier this month in Atlanta. It shares in the concerns raised in the resolution of the Conference and agrees in principle with the issues and programmatic thrust contained within it; and be it further

Resolved, That we urge the Presiding Bishop, the Episcopal Church Center Staff and the entire national Church structure to examine its own life and program in regard to racism, and take affirmative actions to deal with its own institutional racism; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council ask the National Mission in Church and Society staff, in cooperation with the Education for Mission and Ministry staff, to develop educational and programmatic materials for use within parishes and dioceses on the issue of racism; and be it further

Resolved, That the written report of the Executive Council to the General Convention 1982 contain an account of what has been done and what is planned in the future concerning programs to combat racism.
