Resolved, That the Executive Council, meeting in the city of Charleston, South Carolina, February 9-11, 1983, takes note of the admission into union with the General Convention of the Diocese of Fort Worth since its November 1982 meeting, and expresses to its Ordinary the Rt. Rev. A. Donald Davies, a valued colleague, its regards for him; its great joy in his new ministry; and its pleasure that the chief shepherd and flock of this new diocese are continuing to serve our Lord and all of us in this new shape of their corporate obedience. |
