Resolved, That the Executive Council express its appreciation for the following appointments made by the Presiding Bishop (New Volunteers for Mission):
Ms. Jean Dornon, Diocese of San Diego, to serve as administrative assistant in the Diocesan Office of the Dominican Republic, for two years, beginning April 1990.
Ms. Barbara High, Diocese of New York, to serve as a registered nurse and instructor of nursing at Bonda Mission Hospital in the Diocese of Manicaland, Zimbabwe, for one year beginning May 1990.
H. Allen Perry, M.D., Diocese of Alabama, to assist the Ministry of Health in organizing surgical care in Managua, Diocese of Nicaragua, from June 1990 to January 1993.
Susan Perry, M.D., Diocese of Alabama, to work in medical clinics in Managua through the Ministry of Health, and to serve in the music and Christian Education programs in the Diocese of Nicaragua, from June 1990 to January 1993.
Allen and Susan's three children will accompany them to Managua. The Presiding Bishop's Fund for World Relief is contributing some funds to enable their mission.
