Resolved, That the Executive Council at its meeting in Appleton, Wisconsin, June 14-17, 1999, expresses our gratitude to the Diocese of Fond du Lac for their gracious and generous hospitality, for the welcome bags and notes, and for the wonderful experience of Diocesan Community and enthusiasm for the mission of the Church and for our inclusion in the Diocesan Festive Eucharist and picnic on Wednesday evening; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council expresses to The Rt. Rev. Russell Jacobus our profound appreciation for his enthusiastic and personal welcome, continuing presence during our meetings, and his positive and enthusiastic Episcopal leadership model and we extend our appreciation to Jerri Jacobus for her gift of hospitality and support; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council thanks the clergy and people of All Saint's Church, Appleton, for their wonderful hospitality and their support to us in making available their sacred space for our worship; particularly we want to thank

  1. The clergy and lay leadership of the parish
  2. The Altar Guild
  3. Mr. Paul Webber, whose gift of music through his service as our organist was particularly appreciated and generous; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council extends our heartfelt thanks to Bruce Woodcock for his seventeen years of dedicated service to the Church in the General Convention office and assures him of our prayers as he begins his study at the General Seminary in New York; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council sends greetings and the assurance of our prayers to the following:

  1. to The Rev. Dan Martensen and our prayers for a speedy recovery
  2. to Shelly for the speedy recovery of her husband
  3. to the family of The Rt. Rev. Stephen Plummer following the tragic death of Byron
  4. to Virginia Norman for support and healing for her brother

Resolved, That the Executive Council extends our thanks to all those involved in the anti-racism training and for their time with us here as we have met in Appleton, Wisconsin; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council expresses our appreciation to Janice Lewis Anderson for her leadership in Province V and for the presentation of its program and ministry, and that we wish to thank the men of the Marion County Correction Institution and Chaplain Richard Swan for the contribution of their time and talent in the production of the Province V video presentation; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council sends greetings and best wishes to Catherine Lynch in her new job and that the Executive Council expresses its appreciation for her excellent contribution to the ministry of the Episcopal Church and for her contribution over a too short period to the life of the community of this Council; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council expresses its gratitude to Lori and Lucy for the outstanding work they do on our behalf, providing support and hospitality arrangements; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council wishes to express its appreciation to the management and staff of the Paper Valley Hotel for their support and gracious hospitality; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council expresses its gratitude to Cheryl Dawkins who continues with great sensitivity and devotion to support the work of this Council and who has with grace and professional dedication worked to improve the stewardship of the resources which enable the on-site support of our meetings; and finally, be it further

Resolved, That this Council wishes to express our deep appreciation and sense of blessing which we receive through the leadership, work and ministry of Bishop Griswold and Dr. Chinnis, our two presiding officers, and The Rev. Rosemari Sullivan, our Secretary, and Mr. Steve Duggan, our Treasurer.
