Resolved, That the Executive Council affirm the recommendations of the Commission on Theological Education for Latin America and the Caribbean, and approve the following requests in the total amount of US $226,678.00 from the income of Trust Fund 809, for:
Diocesan Programs
Colombia -- Clergy continued education and theological education for candidates to ordained and lay ministry, $5,000.00
Central Ecuador -- Materials for systematic training and education/formation of candidates for Holy Orders and lay leadership, $12,500.00
Litoral, Ecuador -- Training of lay leaders and candidates for ordained ministry, $8,290.00
El Salvador -- For theological formation of lay leaders to strengthen and expand the diocesan work, $10,000.00
Guatemala -- Theological education for candidates to ordained ministry, $9,290.00
Honduras -- Theological education for candidates to ordained ministry and for the continued indigenization of clergy, $9,290.00
Mexico -- Continued education of clergy, Holy Order candidates and training of lay leaders in Anglicanism, $12,500.00
Northern Mexico -- Training of candidates to Holy Orders and lay leaders for work in team ministry, $9,000.00
Southeast Mexico -- Continued education of the clergy and training of lay leaders, $7,000.00
Nicaragua -- Programs of theological education for training of candidates to serve in isolated rural communities, $10,000.00
