Resolved, That the Executive Council express its gratitude for the gracious hospitality extended by the Rt. Rev. Robert Miller, the Rt. Rev. Furman Stough, the diocesan staff and members of the clergy and laity during the lovely evening on All Saints' Day both at the Eucharist and dinner; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council give thanks for the leadership of the Most Rev. Edmond Browning and Dr. Pamela Chinnis; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council express its thanks to the staff of the Episcopal Church Center, for their love and concern in seeing that we had all our needs attended to; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council express its deep appreciation to Robert Brown, for his marvelous work as Interim Treasurer; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council extend its congratulations to Stephen Duggan on his election as Treasurer of the Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council send greetings of love and prayers to Patti Browning; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council thank our Canadian Partners, Suzanne Lawson and James Merrett for the companion relationship they share with us; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council send its congratulations to Dr. Donn Failey Morgan who has been called to be President and Dean of the Church Divinity School of the Pacific; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council welcome Carolyn Keil as a new member of our community; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council send congratulations to the Rt. Rev. Mary Adelia McLeod on the second anniversary of her consecration as the first woman Diocesan Bishop in the Episcopal Church, USA; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council give thanks to Liz Workman for walking us through the process for the 1996 Diocesan Visitations; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council thank Mrs. Katherine Tyler Scott and the Rev. Dr. James B. Lemler, for their work on the survey for developing the process of leadership and for their challenging presentations; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council express thanks to each of the committees for their wonderful presentations; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council offer its continued prayers for healing for Allan Cheney, wife of Reynolds Cheney; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council offer its prayers for healing for Gordon Zelasko, grandson of Sally Bucklee; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council send congratulations to Bishops-elect Geralyn Wolf of the Diocese of Rhode Island and Andrew Donnan Smith of the Diocese of Connecticut; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council congratulate the Rev. Carmen Guerrero in her new position as Archdeacon in the Diocese of Los Angeles; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council offer prayers of healing for Edna, mother of Virginia Sheay; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council express its congratulations to the Rev. Canon and Mrs. Donald Nickerson on the birth of their grandson David Sumner Wilson II.

Resolved, That the members of the Executive Council of the Episcopal Church extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Pastor and the staff of the 16th Street Baptist Church for the opportunity of visiting this historic church.

Resolved, That the members of the Executive Council of the Episcopal Church express their appreciation to the board and staff of the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute for making it possible to tour this historic facility.
