Resolved, That the Executive Council express its appreciation for the following appointments made by the Presiding Bishop.

Ms. Carole Bennage, Diocese of South Carolina, assigned as English as a Second Language Teacher at San Estebán School in the Diocese of the Dominican Republic.

This is a 1-year appointment with the Young Adult Service Corps Program beginning August 8, 2001.

Mr. Peter and Mrs. Betty Budde, Diocese of Fond du Lac, assigned as English as a Second Language Teachers in the Diocese of Honduras. This appointment is for the period of one year, beginning August 8, 2001.

Mr. Alex Dyer, Diocese of Southern Virginia, assigned as an Income Generation and Training Officer in the Diocese of Egypt and North Africa. This is an 11-month appointment with the Young Adult Service Corps Program beginning August 12, 2001.

Mr. John Ellery and Mrs. Elizabeth Jones, Diocese of Rio Grande, assigned as Communication Officers in the Diocese of Mt. Kilimanjaro. These appointments are for a 3-year period starting August 6, 2001.

Ms. J. Wesley Fletcher, Diocese of West Texas, assigned as a Teacher in the Diocese of West Ankole. This is a 1-year appointment with Young Adult Service Corps beginning August 27, 2001.

Dr. Scott and Mrs. Carol Kellerman, Diocese of Northern California, assigned as Diocesan Health Coordinator and Volunteer for Mission respectively in the Diocese of Kinkiizi. These appointments are for a 3-year period starting July 1, 2001.

Mr. Jeff Lisman, Diocese of Connecticut, assigned as a Music Teacher at Uganda Christian University in The Church of the Province of Uganda. This is a 1-year appointment with the Young Adult Service Corps beginning August 29, 2001.

Mr. Ranjit Mathews, Diocese of Massachusetts, assigned as an Assistant to The Church of the Province of Southern Africa’s Office of HIV/AIDS at the Community Ministries & Mission of St. George’s College Cathedral in the Diocese of Cape Town. This is an 11-month appointment with the Young Adult Service Corps starting July 1, 2001.

Mr. Thomas Murphy, Diocese of Western North Carolina, assigned as a Volunteer Counselor/Teacher in the Diocese of Honduras through the Young Adult Service Corps program for a 1-year period, starting June 15, 2001.

Ms. Audrey Walters, Diocese of Delaware, assigned as a Missioner for Youth Ministry at All Saints Church, Belgium (Convocation of American Churches in Europe) through the Young Adult Service Corps program for a one-year period starting August 24, 2001.

Mr. Vernon and Mrs. Francis Wilson, Diocese of Southern Virginia, assigned as a Vocational Teacher and an Accountant/Volunteer Coordinator respectively in the Diocese of Belize. These appointments are for the period of 1 year starting July 1, 2001.
