Resolved, That the Executive Council express its appreciation for the following missioners who have faithfully completed their terms of service.

Mr. Mark and Mrs. Kathy Bowman, Diocese of Kansas, after serving as Assistant Development Officer and Coordinator of International Relations in the Church of Uganda. This assignment began in April, 1998, and officially ended on March 28, 2001.

Rev. João D'Alcaravela and Mrs. Carol Blanchard, Diocese of Massachusetts, after serving respectively as Teacher in Pastoral Theology and Evangelism and Lay Trainer and Educator with the Lusitanian Church of Portugal. This assignment which began April, 1995, officially ended April 1, 2001.

Ms. Heather Britt, Diocese of Texas, after serving as ANERA Planning and Evaluation Officer in the Diocese of Jerusalem for one year. This assignment officially ended August 10, 2001.

Mr. Gary Eichelberger, Diocese of Upper South Carolina, after a six-month service as a Lecturer in Theology at Gaul House College in the Diocese of Harare, Zimbabwe, Central Africa. This assignment as a Young Adult Service Corps volunteer officially ended August 28, 2001.

The Rev. Stewart Lane, Diocese of Southern Malawi, served in various capacities since June, 1965, as a parish priest and more recently as the College Chaplain in the Diocese of Southern Malawi. This term officially ended with his retirement in March, 2001.

The Rev. Susan Michelfelder, Diocese of Southern Ohio, after serving a one-year appointment as Assistant and Diocesan Communications Officer at Christ Church By-The-Sea, in the Diocese of Panama, which officially ended on July 30, 2001.

The Rev. Patricia Powers, Diocese of Southwest Florida, after serving the Anglican Episcopal Church of Brazil as the Director of the Mission Department for the Province and Dean at the Regional Theological Seminary. This was a 3-year appointment that officially ended on June 23, 2001.

Mr. Benjamin Talton, Diocese of Long Island, served a six-month assignment as the Lay Missioner with the Church of the Province of West Africa, which officially ended April 22, 2001.

Mr. Paul and Mrs. Kate Tilley, served a 1-year assignment as a Missioner for Youth Ministry at All Saints Church, Belgium (Convocation of American Churches in Europe) which officially ended on September 1, 2001.

Mr. Chris White, served a 1-year assignment as an English Teacher by special appointment in China with the Amity Foundation, through the National Council of Churches in the USA, which officially ended on July 26, 2001.
