Resolved, That the Secretary of the Executive Council send a letter to all diocesan bishops with a copy of General Convention Resolution A-045 concerning the appointment of Episcopal Diocesan Ecumenical Officers and Assistants; and be it further Resolved, That the Secretary inform them of the next national meeting of Episcopal Diocesan Ecumenical Officers to take place in Indianapolis, Indiana, April 17-20, 1989, and request those bishops who have not already done so to appoint ecumenical officers and to consider representation of minorities and women. |
